 Explain the importance of cross media synergies in the media area you have studied. 

    In modern days, it is easy to gain attention to films with the help of cross media synergies. Social media, advertisements, and collaborations allow audiences to engage and access films.
    Blumhouse productions is a medium sized company created by Jason Blum. Their focus is mostly on the production of low-budget horror films that end up returning a huge profit in return. This studio often involves Tiktok and Instagram in their campaigns to spread trailers and hype around their films. These often reach the attention of teenagers and young adults.
       
    Blumhouses major film, "The Black Phone" utilized cross media synergies through social media and community engagement. Understanding their audience, Blumhouse used social media for advertising. For example, TikTok was used to play trailers and short clips of the film. This engaged audiences and pulled their attention. Blumhouse also collaborated with websites like "Community.com" to increase sales. With this collaboration, geo-targeting increased clicks, personalized content for viewers, and boosted ticket sales. They even saw a higher increase than promoting through Instagram. Cross Media synergies allowed this film to increase in ticket sales and expand their audience to teenagers and younger adults.
    
    Streaming services are a popular way to access movies on the television or smartphones without having to leave the home. Services such as Paramount +, Peacock, and Apple Tv let users watch whatever movies they'd like. Blumhouse understood their audience and technology and used this to their advantage. By releasing the film to these services, they expanded their audience and generated money. Blumhouse utilized technology to aid themselves in distribution.

To conclude, cross media synergies play a huge role in film, production, marketing, and distribution. Without it, smaller companies would struggle to promote their films and generate revenue.

Title Sequence Final

 The theme for the title sequence was to make it mysterious. Its font and name would provide audiences with that type of feeling. The color white made the font and title stand out and appear bold. Blurring the background behind the title was to show its seclusion just as how the characters were in the woods. 

We decided to use N.E.A.L as the studio name because it incorporated the first letter of our names. It shows our teamwork and collaboration on this project. Biggie productions was an idea created from us all loving food and eating which adds a personal touch to the project. These design features set the mood and flow for the opening.

The decision to include actor names being staggered gave the effect of a film opening. As the film continues, it slowly introduces each character.
